First question I got is Can a person with diabeties eat Nutrisystem snacks? Hoping for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Has anyone found a good syrup for the pancakes? Someone else posted about boiling down thier fruit to make syrup...while I think that is delicious, my husband doesn't really care for the idea of fruit-syrup..

Any suggestions are appreciated!.

Yup, although you might wanna make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you email the Nutrisystem guys because they can assist you better...

I found Smuckers's sugar free breakfast syrup and I think it tastes great..

Speaking of blueberries, the other day I tried spreading a little of blueberry yogurt on my pancake and I really liked it..

I've found a sugar free syrup "Cary's" American Diabetes Association's approval. It states that "2 tbsp of Cary's Sugar Free equals a free food". I also used a Nutrisystem recipe for blueberry syryp (use as your fruit serving)...

Walden Farms 0 Calorie Pancake Syrup.

I'm with Pam. The Walden Farms is the only brand I will use. The other brands have sugar alcohols and I stay as far away from those as I can...

I love the blueberry Walden Farms syrup on the pancakes! Yummy!..

I love SF Log Cabin syrup. It has a very mapley flavor to it and it reminds me of my childhood. I have a real problem with sorbital and sugar alcohols but for some reason the amount in the SF Log Cabin syrup doesn't effect me..

You can also add the syrup into heated SF jam or fruits to make different syrups for pancakes too..

Thanks everyone! These are all great suggestions...I can't wait until the weekend to try these. I actually like the pancakes so much that I will try to make them and freeze them for the week (I have to be at work at 7:30 and I have to drop my 2 year olds off at daycare first!).

Thanks again,.

A tip: If you add an egg white it will make the pancakes fluffier...

I'm very happy with the Log Cabin Sugar-Free. My kids like it too, which is great, because I really hate buying two sets of food..

I've read so many comments regarding Walden Farms products...I may have to give them a try. Shipping to APO is kind of high though...

I also love the Walden Farms sf syrup. The sf salad dressings are great too...

Sugar free blackberry jam and nonfat spray butter is delicious on the pancakes..

My favorite is sugar free Spring Tree. It doesn't taste sugar free at all!..

Thanks Ava, I was wondering what I was going to put on the pancake. I am new here just into my second week. Thanks again.

Here is a recipie for you to try..

Take some peaches (unsweetened in the can) or fresh peaches..

Cook them in some water 1/2 cup of water and stir them while the water is simmering. Add some cinnamom, some splenda sugar (1 +2 packets) add some pure vanilla extract. Let the mixture become thick but not too thick. Remove from the fire and let cool...

Pour over your pancakes. OMG this taste so good....

You could do this with Blueberries, Strawberries, Nectarines, and Pears..

If the Pears are a little over ripe, that is fine, the natural sugars from them will make it taste wonderful. Refrigerate any leftovers for your next breakfast...
