That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could answer your Verisign question..
Hi Nic (im also in wales too!) Thank you for your reply..
I use dreamweaver, is FCK editor similar to that, or do you think it would be better to download and edit all changes I make to the oscommerce pages in fck?..
Kind of, you run it form your admin section, many people find it much easier to use.
Thank you. I have downloaded it and uploaded it to my webspace and can access it. Did you mean in your last post I could also access it via my oscommerce admin section? If so, how would I go about doing this?..
Did you follow the install instructions ? .
If so it should be showing there.
Ahh, now you have said that, I think I have done something wrong. I now realise from searching on the net your supposed to put the fckeditor folder in 'admin' folder within oscommerce?.
I was unable to find any kind of txt instruction doc in the zip folder, I can find a licence.txt and a doc wiki which just said upload to server and gave a link to the text editor page..
I have read on the net that I will need to modify some php files. I'm sorry to be a nuisance, would it be possible to direct me to any installation instructions, or let me know what I need to modify?.
Cant wait to get started, I have read so many forum posts how good it is : ).

I am having enormous fun working out how to create my first store using oscommerce however I have hit upon a problem and using trial and error, or researching it I cant seem to solve the problem. I apologise if this has been asked before, my search terms haven't been able to come up with anything..
I have my store front where I have replaced the generic welcome message in english.php and added a welcome paragraph under that..
I have removed the 'new products section' in index.php..
I would now like to put a table (to add some text and pictures) in place of the new products, but cant seem to work out how to do it. I can place a table under the footer, or just above the footer, however it doesn't seem to want to go in place of the new products in the centre under the welcome text..
This is probably very simple to achieve, but I only have limited experience to php and would appreciate a little guidance. I would be more than willing to add a link to the store front if this is allowed..
I look forward to your reply!.
You best bet would be to install FCK editor and define main page contribution you could do all of that WYSIWYG style, much easier to make and edit.
