Your question was: Are there any GoDaddy holiday coupons now?.
This is an error which has become steady recently. Previously it would appear for a day or two and then disappear. Since Mid November it's directly due to the changes AOL is making..
You need to throttle your per/connection and concurrent connections way down..
You may also see a 450 error "too many recipients from IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". This 450 and your current 421 error go hand in hand..
AOL is making changes...
Your DYN:T1 is very different from his 450 "too many connections" error. His 450 and the 421 error I posted don't seem to impact reputation directly and are per connection/concurrent connection issues..
Your DYN:T1 on an AOL whitelisted IP may be due to an unexpected increase in volume...
Aol definitely changed something on their end, since I don't seem to have any issues with my old wl, only my newly acquired ones. I have my own in-house system and it's set at 75 connections 3 recipients per connection, can you tell me what the sweet spot might be?.
Too many connections normally means you are trying to deliver too fast. AOL will still rate limit you even if you have a new wl with them. You'll have to play around with the speed volume because it can vary a lot. One size def does not fit all when it comes to this...
Not really sure how much more I can play with it. I went from 75 concurrent connections 1 recipient per connection, down to 15, now 13 and it's set to 60K and hour. However, my aol mailing list is less then 5k so I don't volume per hr is really an issue. I'm going bonkers trying to figure this out, I was having better delivery when I wasn't WL..
I got out almost 200k before powermta went wonky. I dunno if it's how the mailer is written or if it's because aol is limiting the connections, but I don't receive those errors at 21 threads running 500 emails each. After about that ment it kept the same number of threads connection (almost 200), but would only delivery like 500 a min =\.
That above is with 10 wl ips..
I'm really at a complet loss these are the errors I'm getting, not sure if the recipients should be retried and if they should be removed..
421 4.7.0 mtain-dd06.r1000.mx.aol.com Error: too many connections from xx.xx.xx.***.
450 4.7.1 Error: too many recipients from xx.xx.xx.*** Giving up on xx.xx.xx.***..
Posting live ip's on a open forum is not really a smart thing..
Well unless you'd like to spend the next few hours figuring out the remaining combination of numbers for the ip's, I really don't see the value to anyone...
ISPs / haus doesn't care about single IPs. They will just bomb your /24, and possibly the whole /20 or /19 if they suspect the entire range is involved in sending emails...
The entire block is run by one entity..
(a vps provider)..
