My 1st question is: Are constrictors safe? Which snakes are good pets? Dukan Diet, cost and maintainence? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another question... Hello everyone. I know Christina and many of you have a lot of ideas on what to do with Dukan Diet pancakes, but when I go to her site it doesnt work. For some reason I'm trying to get to her website cuz I know she has a lot of recipes I can look at and cant get it..

Do any of you by any chance have any ideas what I can do or point me in the right direction?.

Thank you all in advance...

Never.

Yeah sorry, the darn server has been down for about 2 days now!!.

It's driving me nutts! I have a few of the recipes on my new board here:.

But there isn't many there yet since I just started setting it up. I have most of them posted here too, but I never have any luck with the search function here...

My breakfast order is almost nothing BUT pancakes! I have been experimenting like mad with cakes made with the pancake mix, starting with the basic 1/3 C LF vanilla yogurt and 1/4 C Eggbeaters cake recipe, and throwing all kinds of things in it...

I got a big huge box full that came from Big Lots..

There is a muffin thread on here someplace. I will look for it..

Here is a good one that I like but there are many..

Awww, Chris. I think I need a pineapple upside down cake for dessert tonight. Have not made that for a while...

ITA how you can never have too many of the pancakes! Dukan Diet has done some weird things to mein my "previous" life I was NOT either a pancake OR dessert eaterand now they are my favorite part of the day! I can't bring myself to even TRY any of the other recipes yet because I love the pancakes so much straight I can't bear to give up a mix for anything else....and I have tons!..

Oh you guys... Thank you sooo much for all your help. =)..

Guys can I ask you a question? Im concerned. maybe you guys do it different or in bulk..but I'm afraid of using the oven 400degrees just for a tiny pancake mix.. (which by the way they are delish!!) but, Im a full time college student. Isnt that a lot of electricity for one pancake mix?.

An suggestions or alternatives you all recommend?.

Please let me know.. =)..

Oh heck yeah...get yourself a toaster oven!!! They work great and cost far less to run. They also don't heat your kitchen up in the summer time!! My board is back up now too...

My toaster oven and microwave is the most used thing in my kitchen along with my mini whisk..

I also, have microwaved many of Christina's buns with success. The Cranberry orange danish with cream cheese icing came out from microwave just a while ago and was just great...

Oh thank you. thank you.. so it's the same thing right? I dont need to use that big old oven for a teeny pancake then?..

Yep it's the same! Heck I bake whole pies and cheesecakes in mine!! In fact on most of my recipes you'll see in the directions to preheat your oven or toaster oven! LOL!! I'm like Birdie, I use the microwave alot too. I actually find that I like some of the buns better out of the microwave! Recently I bought a couple of small microwave steamers and even a micrwave grill off of QVC and now I very seldom use the big oven!..

Here is a easy muffin:.

Chocolate Chip Muffins.

1 package N.S. Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix.

1/4 cup Milk.

1/2 beaten egg.

1/4 tsp. each cinnamon and vanilla.

1/4 tsp. each Baking Soda and Baking Powder.

Mix all ingredients and divide between 2 muffin cups, that have been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 8 - 10 minutes..

Plain N.S. Pancake mix, add 1 chopped Nutri-Chocolate to the batter, or add 1/2 of a banana.

Use the N.S. Blueberry Pancake Mix for Blueberry Muffins...

There IS no such thing as too many pancake mixes!.

Seriously, the mix is really versatile, as previous posters have said. Also check out the Pancake Puff thread - Dukan Diet pancake mix works really well, and in addition to regular puffs, there are recipes for chocolate puffs, "Cinnabon" puffs, crabmeat puffs, etc. A friend gave me one of these pans over the holidays (you can get them at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and online). Fun and delicious..

Nancy..

Bookwmn1: thats awesome..thank you i'll go and buy one. with our Dukan Diet pancake mix, about how many of these puffs do you think it would make?..

I agree, never too many pancakes. just picked up 35 packages today at big lots for 50cents each!!!..

50 cents?! r they expired? not that it matters with pancake mix.... but seriously how does big lots get all this food and sell it for so cheap?..

Dukan Diet sold it to them the way other companies sell their products to them. It was the Nourish program and they did some new packaging and few new fomulations and called it Advanced. Took the older stock and sold to Big Lots. We have been buying it for a while now..

I got a big box full of pancake mixes and lots of stuff a while back. Mine does not have anything right now...

You usually get 8-10 puffs from a typical recipa-best party: you get to eat ALL of them!..

I had Christina's orange marmalade cake today and I think it is the best thing I have ever made from the pancake mix. Thanks Christina...

BOOO I wish I had one near me I hate waiting for AD =-(..
