Quick question: Anyone of heard of verisign to sign up for ebay selling? Thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Hi Everybody,.

A few weeks ago, I removed all the shopping cart info on my Verisign website and when I removed the info from the top of the page (the items that say, my account, shopping cart) I guess I removed the breadcrumbs to. I didn't realize it until just today... and since I'm not a wiz kid at php, I have no idea what I did! And since it was a few weeks ago.. I have NO idea what I did..

Can somebody help me? What code needs to be on what pages in order to get that back?.

Your help is EXTREMELY appreciated!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could help you..

Thank you!.

I know this will sound stupid but... compare which file? application_top.php or header.php? or something else?..

Comment #2

The breadcrumb code appears in several files. You would compare whatever file you modified to remove the code to a clean copy of that file...

Comment #3

Then I think I'm screwed big time. I made changes several weeks ago and have no idea what I did..

(insert video of me banging my head against the wall here!)..

Most likely you did not touch the breadcrumb class. To add the breadcrumb back in you just need to place this code in your header..

<?php echo $breadcrumb->trail(' &raquo; '); ?>.

In stock osc the part where that goes is like this.. If you have a template things could be different..

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">.

<tr class="headerNavigation">.

<td class="headerNavigation">&nbsp;&nbsp;<?php echo $breadcrumb->trail(' &raquo; '); ?></td>.

<td align="right" class="headerNavigation"><?php if (tep_session_is_registered('customer_id')) { ?><a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_LOGOFF, '', 'SSL'); ?>" class="headerNavigation"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF; ?></a> &nbsp;|&nbsp; <?php } ?><a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_ACCOUNT, '', 'SSL'); ?>" class="headerNavigation"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT; ?></a> &nbsp;|&nbsp; <a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART); ?>" class="headerNavigation"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CART_CONTENTS; ?></a> &nbsp;|&nbsp; <a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL'); ?>" class="headerNavigation"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CHECKOUT; ?></a> &nbsp;&nbsp;</td>.

</tr>.

</table>..

All you really have to do is restore the file from backup..............you did back up, right? Failing that, use something like Beyond Compare and compare your file to the original file (which you can download from this site). Oh, and be sure to backup the file before changing it...
