That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could assist you..
Is there a tutorial somewhere that I might be able to follow?..
Did you follow my step by step tutorial on how to integrate a purchased template into osC using STS? Post #2587:.
Also, I sent you a PM...
Well, I TRIED to send you a personal message but you have PM's turned off in your osCommmerce forum profile. I was going to give you a link to my Verisign site regarding the STS Tutorial. I will not post this publically in this forum as it is against forum rules. Sorry...
I did not get your PM... as I for some reason had my PM feature disabled.. could you please resend it. I am going to look at that tutorial right now..
Also, the HTML/CSS template I am trying to integrate is not one that was designed for osC or STS I have to convert it to be compatible.. I know this but I dont know where to start... that is what I am looking for help with..

Sorry about that.. I have enabled it.. would you please resend the message?.
I resent the PM..
When using STS, you are not limited to using a template that was created for osCommerce. It would be a lot easier if it was but it is not necessary. When working with your custom template, keep in mind that STS uses variables (or tags) that represent osCommerce data. For example, you would place the $whatsnewbox tag in your template where you wanted the what's new infobox to be displayed. Other than that, the template can be designed just as you would a typical web page..
Please ask STS support related questions in the STSv4 Forum (link in my signature below)..
Hope this helped,..
I am definitely going to purchase the tutorial. Thanks for all your help. I will post in the STSv4 support forum if any more questions come up...
I have an HTML/CSS template that we would like to use for our store.. I have tried using Simple Template System but it is not working for me. Any ideas for me? I have some design and programming experience but can not seem to figure out how to use STS. Is there a way to get my HTML/CSS layout to work with OSCommerce other than using STS?.
TIA for your help...
You can split up the template you have into header, footer, 3 columns, then integrate each as appropriate. Just takes a little more patience and skill than using sts...
