First of all Anyone have any advice for Nutrisystem? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: Does it take a few weeks for your body to adjust?? I do yoga every night and try to run every morning.... I have been doing it for about 4 weeks now and haven't seen much weight loss and Im getting concerned.. there have been a few meals (I mean about 3-4) that were slip ups but nothing major.. what could I be doing wrong?????..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Well I take different types of yoga classes so it's always different plus I hike, etc.... and I do drink tons of water... I mean a few "off" meals here and there couldn't really be the issue could it?? I guess I will have to call and speak to someone... thanks!..

I've lost 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Last time I was onNutrisystemI lost about a pound a week. The good news for me was I kept it off till I got pregnant again! Try sticking to your program as closely as possibly, also do measurements. It's really hard to be patient for the changes we want, they come, just not right away. We are all different in how fast or slow we lose, but you stick to it will be sooo happy! Good Luck with the counselor and trust that those pounds will melt with work. Yoga is great btw!..

I do yoga and run, too.

OK..3-4 slip ups, that's about once a week. For me, that would mean no losses. The program ONLY works for me if I follow it 100%, NO slip ups, not even one bite off plan. And let me tell you, it works great if you stay dedicated!..

My question, too, would be about the off meals.Nutrisystemworks really well if you follow the program, but like anything else, if you do not follow directions, you can't count on getting the same results. I would suggest committing to following the plan 100% for two solid weeks to see how your body responds. For me, a big part of the program was breaking old eating habits and tendencies. I could not have done that and allowed myself off-meals...

It also depends on what you mean by "haven't seen much weight loss". A pound a week is normal, so you shouldn't fret if that's what you're seeing...

Ive been reading alot of threads and it says that your calories should be 1200.. ive bee noticing my calories come to about 1350/ day... is this too high?? I am eating everything the plan calls for and logging exactly everything I eat including the "unlimited" veggies......

You want to stay between 1100 and 1200..

Sounds to me like the slip sups are the downfall..

More info would be good including how much weight loss you have had..

"Slip ups" are what got many of us here...

I personally avoid going over 1200 per day. To do that I do measure my veggies and don't consider anything unlimited. I also eat lower range caloric add ins (like, I'll have a hard boiled egg for 70 calories instead of a 100 calorie yogurt, for example). But that's just what works for me, I know a lot of people average 1300 calories or more and lose fine...

Interesting question. I am going to start up with the elyptical machine this week and do a bit of weight work outs. I know that this can cause muscle growth which can slow the loss of pounds, but will help lose the inches...

I am normally around 1350 as well. I am not sweating it as I workout quite a bit...

If you're sticking to the plan, exercising and still not losing weight, there are certain medical conditions which may prevent you from losing weight. The two that jump to mind are hypothyroidism and pregnancy. But, I'd give it another week and see what happens. Some bodies take a few weeks to adjust to the new program...

Some meds make it harder too- and most antidepressant meds make you gain weight..

OH ELLIPTICAL- that is a great machine and will really help losing weight and inches from hip/thigs/gut and arms if have the arm part too. I cannot wait until I am cleared from surgeons to start using ours!..
