I just thought I'd ask if it was normal/healthy to drop 10 pounds in as many days.

I'm thrilled, yet I'm expecting to level-out soon and slog off the pounds with lots of exercise/smart Nutrisystem meal planning..

Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience, or has any tips to help me keep a steady flow of weight loss like this?....feels great, but I'm not about to 'treat' myself to anything but more hard work...

Yeah, I kinda knew that amount wouldn't be a standard for what I expect to lose per week. Was just hoping that I could slice a consistent 2-3 pounds off per week with a bit more effort..

Lastly, I have to extend my own congrats to you, Bartle. You've really done well with the weight you've lost...

2 pounds or less a week is said to be normal and healthy weight loss (those with more weight to lose may lose faster, those with less weight to lose may lose slower)..

Many people lose more the first week (could be water weight). Don't worry so much about your weekly losses. Just follow the plan and you will lose over the long-term...

2 to 3 pounds isn't unrealistic but I wouldn't put any expectations into it. After a few weeks, you'll find your own rhythm. But staying on plan, getting your water in, and exercising will all help to keep your rate up. I've lost as little as .8 pounds and as much as 5 pounds in one week, but for these past three weeks I've settled into an nice three pound rhythm..

It's great to have support like this from such great people!.

I'm not trying to rush ahead of myself, I'm just excited to find a new direction in life through this program..

My true goal is to make the weight and fitness requirements for the military. I come from a military family and always felt like I could never reach the physical and weight requirements to make it and in so doing, I discounted it as an option for my career..

Now with this plan and the support of the wonderful people and the success stories I've seen, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and a reachable goal at the end..

I will muster up all my willpower and get this done...

With such an great attitude like that, you'll definitely get it done, after all, weight loss is mainly mental IMO. Best of luck again, but with those thoughts you won't really need it...
