Got a quick question: Anybody know a Dukan Diet that will make you lose 30 pounds in 2 months? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question... HELP! I need some tips on how to prepare the Dukan Diet Oatmeal. I follow the directions... 50% power, however the directions say to leave it in for 4-6 min. By the time it gets to 2 min.

I've tried putting it in taller bowls, but when it cooks as long as required YUK.

Any suggestions?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could answer your Dukan Diet question..

I cook mine in my Pampered Chef glass batter bowl. I used to have trouble with oatmeal volcanos, but ever since I started using the batter bowl to cook it in, I haven't had any problems at all...

I gave up on the Dukan Diet oatmeal. It always is a bubbling volcano. I now eat Quaker weight control oatmeal. 2 minutes and it's done...

Thanks for all the quick replys. Yeah, I'm all about quick and easy I usually bring my breakfast to work and eat it while my computer is booting up. If the Quaker oatmeal is 'legal' I think I'll go back to my 2-min, no eruptions, oatmeal...

All I do is add boiling water,than let it sit a bit to it loosens up,add my banannain the beginning ,than I nook it for about 1 min,perfect and no boiling over.i just had it now...

Hi, CimThin. I use the microwave at work which is an "industrial one" with no setting other than HIGH! So, here's what I do to avoid an explosion of oats and no food left for a very hungry me to eat!.

Put the dry oatmeal in a 4 cup microwave safe container (or BIG coffee/soup mug).

Soak the oatmeal in hot water for 3-5 minutes, before even putting anything in the microwave.

Put the oatmeal in the microwave for 30 second intervals...repeat the 30 seconds (usually just twice will do it) and watch it the entire time to make sure it doesn't start creeping up to the edge of the container.

Avoid the nuker. Boil water in your kettle, pour over oats, cover and let sit a few minutes...

The oatmeal does taste better when cooked on the stove and NOT in the microwave. Remember that all the NutriSystems (NS) meals still require you to add additional foods to them. So even if you have the oatmeal, you can still add an additional 1/2 cup of your own regular oatmeal to it as your low carb addition to give you a bigger bowl, which I always do and put it on top of a sliced apple..

I just did this this morning. I am on the men's plan so I am allowed.

The additional low cab. If I'm at work I'll heat the water up first then.

Add the oatmeal and let set for 4-5 minutes..

Add a couple of splenda and cinnamon and your set...

DH recently started Dukan Diet & I'm trying to figure out how I can get him to use oatmeal at work. Has anyone ever tried combining the water & oatmeal the night before, letting the water absorb overnight & then microwaving for a minute or so. Haven't tried it yet, but was wondering if this might work?.

An easier option would be to empty packet into thermos, add boiling hot water, stir, and you're set...

To Obie3, Hi this is my first day on this site, and I am 65 yrs., I need to lose.

50 or more lbs. I have lost 12 lbs. in 5 weeks., but now it is coming off slower.

Than before. I need some good tips, alot of the dinner entrees are not good.

To eat. I was disappointed in the burger patty and the chicken patty. I could not eat either, horrible. I am really tired of so many pasta dishes for dinner. It.

Seems the lunch meals are better. Any advice, thanks Caprice6207..

I took the oatmeal, added a little Splenda brown sugar, crumbled 4 pecan halves (my daily fat portion from dinner) and mix it together and use it to top off fresh sliced peaches...a little FF cool whip and it's almost as good as peach cobbler...

A really big bowl, 5 minutes at 50%. No problems! Although if you cover it with the micro cover, even if in a really big bowl, it will still boil over. Had to learn to NOT use the cover for this...
