My question is Any one on Nutrisystem I need help? Thanks for any comment. Another question... For one of my proteins I have yogurt. For my second allotted protein can I split it up between snacks and meals? Also for my free food can I have a protein? For instance tonight I added six pieces of canadian bacon which is less than 20 calories..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

Re Canadian bacon stats - it depends on the brand & if it's sliced or cubed (maybe JuMar was using the little cubed pieces?). The brand I use most often is 60 cals for three slices..

In re to the original question - yes, you can split the proteins up. Like gri posted, I sometimes save a partial for pizza night.

A free food is ANY food that's 20 calories or less - so it can be a proein if you like..

Remember, free doesn't equal free. If you eat 60 calories too many every single day, you will gain 6.25 lbs in one year...

The canadian bacon I was using was the Hormel brand with the tiny little rounds (like thin pepperoni). An entire package is 130 calories and there are about 50 in the package. I had six..

I don't eat all of my free foods every day since I am so stuffed and I have been following the protein guidelines listed in the recommended foods...

AMEN. I don't consider anything free and account for every bite that goes in my mouth, veggies and all...

Also, beware that Canadian Bacon is high in sodium. I want to buy it and other lunch meats, but the salt keeps me away...

I think it is a huge misconception to call anything free because every calories counts...
